Osteopath D.O. - MSc. Ost.
Sven is an osteopath specialising in paediatrics (from newborn to adult), pre- and postnatal care. 

After graduating as a physiotherapist in 1997, he moved to Switzerland but immediately began studying osteopathy. He worked as a physical therapist until 2003, when he devoted himself solely to osteopathy. According to Sven, first treat the causes of an imbalance and restore movement before doing physical therapy to stabilize that movement!

In 2007, he completed his training as an animal osteopath. After taking a several other specialty courses in pediatrics, visceral osteopathy and many others, he obtained his master's degree in osteopathy in 2021, for his accreditation in Switzerland.

After working in Geneva for 26 years, Sven moved to Belgium, joining the recognized professional association osteopathy.be and operating at InTeam in Hoeilaart.

His goal? To help everyone who comes his way, especially the newborns, mothers pre and post natal. But anyone can make an appointment!

Nature is a good example of this, because everything in nature is in motion. A tree grows incessantly and when an obstacle stands in its way, it deflects or shelters it but continues to grow.... The tree is hard and rough to touch but it moves, it has viscoelasticity. When the wind plays with its branches, which are very flexible thanks to the sap, they bend but do not break. Trees that break are trees that are no longer or poorly feathered.

Sven sees the human body in the same way. As long as the homeostasis, the environment that allows the body to heal and regenerate, remains intact, the body will be able to heal and regenerate itself. Osteopathy regenerates mouvement!
